Hi! I'm a new flock momma! We live on 10 acres and I recently purchased our first chicks and ducks. We bought 1 Barred Rock, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Rhode Island Red and 1 Americuana. They are 5 1/2 weeks old. We bought 2 ducks from Tractor Supply and were told they were Giant Whites which I assumed were Jumbo Pekins (per Google) They are 5 weeks old, but I don't think they are going to be white ducks.
Every time I google a chicken/duck question, this site came up. So, decided I should join.
I purchased our flock somewhat impulsively but I think we are doing a pretty good job so far.
