Hello, I have been on BYC for about 2 weeks, but am just now introducing myself.
My name is Jean-Ann and I am from central Indiana.
We are new to chickens and loving it. Started in April by buying 20 chicks at Rural King. Then a little more here and a little more there. As of today, we have 45 chickens, 4 ducks, 3 peacocks, 2 guineas, 1 goose, 1 pheasant and a partridge in a pear tree. Ok I threw that last part in. ;-)
Throw in a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, 3 cats, 1 currently bottled fed calf and 4 kids under the age of 10 and yep I have quite a zoo!!
But life is great and I an amazingly blessed.
Loving my birds and cannot wait to learn more about them. Thankful for this opportunity.
