Hi all! I've been reading this site for several months now. So much great and relevant info here! I am about to pick up my girls today! 4 Golden Buffs for egg laying
They're 8 weeks old and I'm told they'll start laying in Feb.
We had these once before but lived in the city and we ended up gifting them away. We're now out in the sticks on a few acres and looking forward to having fresh eggs and the lovely sounds hens make around again. (I love listening to them). We've converted a little tikes playhouse into a coop (with lots of help from some of you on here! Ty for posting) and will let them free range during the day. Any advice or tips will be greatly appreciated!
