Pretty much the same on timeline...I've wanted to do chickens for years, but now just seemed like the perfect time to start Lol

I currently have 15 chicks, 15 more on the way in July, and 22 hatching eggs due to arrive on Saturday! I started out a little over a month ago with some Black Australorps, but realized that wasn't the route I wanted to go(I'm being picky with breeds) so I ended up selling them to a couple wonderful families that were also just starting out and gave them all the information I had through my research as well.

I am doing an all black flock, but am planning to do crosses later on down the line and the Australorps just weren't what I was looking for, unfortunately
