Hello My Fellow Chicken People!

After a few months of planning, I have become one of you!

We have a mixed flock. 5 hens that currently lay- 3 Buffs, an "easter egger," and a Barred Rock. We also have 3 pullets, that should start laying in August- 2 Sicilian Buttercups, and a half easter egger/buttercup.

They're all still pretty skittish around me, but we're growing to know each other. I'm here to learn as much as possible!

Hi Diva,
We have a Border Collie/Husky mix and a Catahoula hound.

The addition of the flock sure has brought out the hound dog in the Catahoula.

Thank you - I was born a dog lover much to my parents chagrin. They hoped I would outgrow it. NEVER!!!
