(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm pretty new to chickens! I first handled a chicken in March, when I fell in love with my mother's inseparable duckling and chicken duo. Beeper and Morse were my babies, but I had to leave them in Texas when my vacation ended and I came back to Ohio. The day after I came home I went out and got my three ducklings and two chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 13 chickens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
One of the reasons I'm here is to try and identify them all! I know I have a Rhode island red and two barred plymouths. I'm going to try my best to identify more soon!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
My trusty friend, Google.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to knit and crochet, as well as playing video games and reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a pharmacy tech, I have four cats and a dog, and three khaki campbells; I live with a large number of people. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and I love politics. I am hoping to become a real, true, ☆Adult☆ someday in the future. I've lost one chick to a lack of knowledge of chickens; the poor dear flew out of the broader and passed away. Never again, or at least that's my goal.
