(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Totally new! I got my first chickens this past April.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Easter eggers and a white orpington (I think)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Just watching them be chickens. My initial reason was for the eggs, but they are so fun to just observe!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I play the cello and do outdoor stuff like hiking and camping.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
One of my life goals is to have a small homestead something around 1/2 acre. I currently live in the suburbs so chickens are one of my milestones to creating that type of life for myself. I'm happy suburban areas are accepting of them!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google searching for random questions I had, I came across threads here a lot. Seems like this place is packed with really knowledgeable people!
