(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I had chickens growing up but haven't had any in 20 years. Very excited to raise new creatures, I love animals

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 9 chicks right now. From 2 to 3 weeks old

(3) What breeds do you have?

I have Barred Rock, Black Copper Maran, White Leghorn, Buff Orpington, Splash Laced Red Wyandotte, and an Olive Egger.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Not sure yet.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I have too many to name them all but I cross stitch, read, play video games, garden...

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I am a Librarian, I have 3 sons, and I have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 snakes.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I found out about BYC from Reddit and got a lot of good info from here so wanted to join!
