We adopted two 4 month old pullets who just started laying last week. And bought two 8-10 weekers. We have had all four for two weeks. Both couplings are in seperate coops
with attached runs for socializing safely. When would be a good time to integrate? We already had pecking that drew a dot of blood on the side of craigena's head .I figured the littles were way to small. I'm planning on waiting a month at least..judging mainly on size..once the younger ones are of equal size to older girls. Right now they all four open roam co existing nicely in their seperate areas in our backyard. In the last week things have gone nicely since they socialize through the wire of their runs. These were taken last week so the little girls 8-10 wkers (craigena and lulu) have actually grown alot more ..the older girls 4 months (nutmeg and goldie).Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
