I have had chickens/Turkeys most of my life. Started at a young age in 4H. Some of my favorites are Ameraucanas, Silkies, Bantam Cochins, and Saramas.

We have a small egg laying flock of 18, and a small bantam Flock of 21. We really enjoy watching them in the yard and our kids love holding and petting them.

I am still a big part of 4H and actually am the Junior Fair Rabbit Advisor and co-Chicken Advisor for my local county. I just recently started focusing on breeding and separating our Bantam flock to hatch chicks for our kids and they are loving that!

I am excited to be here!

Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.
