Just wanted to say a quick hello. I have been reading here for over a year an I like many others here am addicted to chickens.

Right now I have 6 hens, 6 roosters (4 of which are headed for the freezer next week) and 2 ducks. I would tell you about the 43 eggs I have in the incubator now but since they have not hatched they don't count yet... right? (I just started day 3 with them.) 3 dogs 3 cats and 4 rabbits. 4 kids, 2 grand kids and my hubby. (Really surprised my husband hasn't put a stop to the madness yet!)

Anyways I am looking forward to talking with others here and continuing to learn more about my obsession.

Yep, the ones in the incubator don't count - remember, don't count your chickens before they are hatched! Although they are much easier to count then as they hold still and don't run around making it impossible to count them.
