Hello, new chicken mom here, My husband and I got 4 hens in November. A Rhode Island red, Buff Orpington, Sapphire gem and I'm not sure what the fourths breed is yet for sure. We also are proud owners of eight s5 week old silkie chicks! But I believe three of them are satins, or some other type of cross. I have browsed this website endlessly since getting the birds and figured might as well join!

Not yet, the name is just a silly screen name I have had for years lol. I do want quail, my neighbors actually breeds them.

Sounds like a Dominque, but yes, pictures would be great.
