Hello,
I have never joined an online community before. That was my life BC: Before Chickens! My husband and I have 9 chicks that are now 4 weeks old, and I am definitely in love with them! I will be honest: I never really believed people who said how entertaining chickens are, how they have personalities, etc. I quit my stressful full time job so that I could have time to enjoy life. I work part time now, and wanted laying hens. I wanted to start with chicks so that they would be tame pets, not just livestock. It is a whole new world! And we have lots to learn. And we love our entertaining girls who have such amusing personalities. A whole new definition of our new favorite pass time: watching "Chick TV".

Glad you could join the flock! Congrats on your new chicks They sure are lots of fun to raise, I absolutely love it. BYC was my first and is my only online community that impost on so I'm sure you will do just fine here too. The learning centre has some fab articles that I'm sure you will find most helpful.
