Hello! New Silkie/Sizzle owner

Hello, I'm new here! We had a number of chickens the past few years but they were all RIR's and leghorns. At one point we had a silkie and my son fell in love with "fluffy," but it was eaten by a hawk

Just today we picked up three silkies and one Sizzle as our new flock. We know they aren't major egg producers, but they make great pets. I am not planning on letting them free range due to predators. Any one else have advice??

I had a couple Silkies but they got picked on by the rest of my flock so I had to re-home them

Lol yeah, mellow is good! I am really interested in chickens that can live happily in the run I already have and not need to be free ranging all the time. With all the predators around we lost a bunch of chickens to hawks and raccoons :-( I figure four small easygoing birds that we can also take out and snuggle should be fun :-D
