Hello Everyone!
I'm A mother of 3 girls under 6 and have recently decided that I wanted them to be raised around a farm like environment and they are loving it almost as much as I am! We picked up our very first flock of 'Ladies' on June 8th consisting of 5 white Leghorns and 5 red warrens at 3 weeks of age. They have all been doing great and we love watching them grow and play around. I have found lots of info on the leghorns but can't seem to find anything on my warrens. Any help would be greatly appreciated :D. Thanks everyone and I look forward to this amazing journey with you all. ( from nb Canada)

They're all teenagers now, the oldest is a senior in high school. Take the time to enjoy every minute, I sure have. Have fun with those new chickens, and your beautiful babies too! Glad you joined us.

Hi and :welcome from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. The ISA Brown or ISA Warren - is a hybrid - a combination of pure breeds, bred together for a specific purpose. They are a lovely docile medium brown/ginger bird and an excellent layer - bred for maximum egg production. They are ideally suited for free range conditions, and you should get approximately 325 brown eggs per year. :thumbsup
