We are new to raising chickens, we have 4 for now..Summer who is a Red Production 4 months old . .Olivia who is a Barred Rock 4 months old ..Lia who is Americauna 3 months old . .and Diva who is a silkie 8 months old. .no eggs yet although Olivia and Diva are very chatty and are squatting

That is a lovely little flock. Silkies are awesome, and so are Ameraucanas!

Your hens look a lot like mine. Just thought I'd add, most hens sold as Ameraucanas are actually Easter Eggers, which are lovely and awesome, but not the same thing.


Here is are Easter Egger (she was sold as an Ameraucana) named Eagle

Glad you could join the flock! What lively girls you have there!! Hope you gave some eggs soon. Waiting for those first ones really can seem to take forever!! But when you find them it's like you gave found gold, it really is.

Very nice flock. Olivia and Diva should start laying soon, you can put golf balls in the nest boxes to give them the idea.
