Hello, my name is Kathy and I am new to raising chickens and I have lots of questions and concerns. We have 5 roosters and 4 hens , and have 6 stalls for horses. I love being outside and enjoying the beautiful weather we have here in Arizona. I want to start having my own homegrown eggs. Any help on feeding and anything that goes along with my chickens laying eggs would be helpful !!

I do have one concern right now , I have one hen that keeps flipping herself over and when she is upright sh walks like she is drunk or something. Can anyone give me any info on this ? also are there home remedies to help her , because the local vet wants a few wings and legs to pay for a visit..

Thank you !!

Welcome to BYC! I would recommend either getting more hens or separating out 4 of the roosters from your hens, a good ratio is 1 rooster to 10 hens. Any more than that the hens run the risk of injury/over breeding/feather loss. Regarding the other question I would post in the Emergencies section with as much detail as possible, here is the link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures good luck to you! :)
