Hello, I'm new to chickens from 2021 and I joined this forum a few months ago when one of my hens got sick, but I didn't introduced myself until now. I'm from western Canada and I have a small fenced coop with 9 chickens and 2 geese. I have previously had ducks, but had to re-home them as they were hurting my hens. Two of my chickens are roosters, and the rest are productive laying hens. As well as this, my geese are a breeding pair, and just recently started laying eggs! All my birds are named, and they're basically just pets, so it's really sad when they get sick. I'm only a novice chicken farmer, and I'm always trying to learn more about keeping my birds happy and healthy.
