Hey Folks,
New to BYC. I'm an Urban backyard farmer. Ive been gardening for about 5 years on about 1/3 acre and about 4 months ago I started in on a self-sufficiency kick. Got a coop and 3 hens, stockpiling emergency supplies, started scrounging wood and pallets from work, and have been working on building a few small greenhouses now.
Aside from the green houses I plan on building a proper coop instead of small chinsy store bought coop I currently have.
I have been having a great time and truly feeling satisfied turning a small seasonal garden in to a full fledged food producing urban home farm.
