(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
In late December of 2007, I was first introduced to them by my boyfriend who just bought a farm and they came with it.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
19 girls and 1 nasty rooster
(3) What breeds do you have?
17 red shavers 1 black ? and a very pretty red w a light pattern of back design and she has a tierra poof of feathers on head behind a small waddle

Started looking for information on the internet and stumbled upon BYC
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
gardening; reading; fishing; ice fishing; dancing; watching all the wild animals that enter and cross the property.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 adult children,a wonderful man; a dog named Boo (english springer- hunting dog) and I work at home and the farm.
