So, first I'd like to introduce myself. I've been stalking BYC for years.. I found it while learning about bumblefoot and trying to treat it. You all really helped me then and you seemed like such a nice community.. So I joined!!

My name is Danielle, I have oh.. 25 chickens.
I'm 14 and I know that is a bit young, but I don't want you to treat me like a kid. I won't act like one, I swear.

So, my username was based off of a chicken I used to have, a really sweet Rhode Island red who we named Sugar -- R.I.P
I have about seven different breeds of Chickens, I'll list them later I swear!! I also need help naming them.

Anyways, It's really nice meeting ya'll. I look forward to hanging with you all.

Welcome to Backyard chickens Danielle, We don't treat anyone like a kid. Every person deserves respect. We have a lot of young folks on here, whose wisdom and experience add much to the forum.

Thank you! I've had more than 9 or 10 years of experience with chickens, hopefully I can add something to the community.. I'm also taking a really good university class about Chicken behavior and welfare.

Welcome to BYC, Danielle. Glad you decided join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. :o) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) names our hens after Disney princesses.
