Hello to all--New member from Kentucky

Hi everyone
I live in a rural area in eastern KY called Korea. I am new to chickens and am having a rough start. I lost one little one last night, she was puny when she came in the mail, and I'm afraid I'm going to lose another to a prolapsed vent. The other five seem to be growing great and doing well though.

Hi Billie Jo! I'm just north of Louisville, Ky. Welcome to BYC!! Sorry to hear about you losing a little chick...hope the other one makes it. I'm just working on building my coop now, not to the chicken stage yet. But I know something like that will hurt if it happens

May I ask where you got your chicks from? I'm looking for places that do mail order in case I can't find someone local.
