Well I'm getting ready to finally start a flock of birds for my family. Been reading articles from this website and decided to join because of the knowledge I can learn from people that have been raising poultry. We just purchased our first home and have 20 acres to utilize, mostly woods which is great for hunting but downside is the predators. My two dobermans have been great at keeping the home safe but I only had a small colony of rats to protect, lol don't judge me, I own a large boa and rats are none to cheap to buy individually. So I've been preparing my future flocks home and with the info I've gained off this site so far I have revamped my plans several times. I'm sure to be asking question later on in hopes of picking everyone's minds. Till then....
