Hello to Clarksville, tn peeps!

Since the city has now allowed R2 zoned people like me to have chickens now, I'm finally able to have some! Researching breeds, coop plans, and sources to get those chickens now.

Any locals have any tips for me? I know I'd like to get a few Australorps, but that's all I've made my mind up on atm. That and I want my coop up off the ground.

I've heard/read Australorps are fabulous layers, so you've made a good choice! Coop off the ground is a good idea. It'll keep rats and mice out.
