Hey All, just wanted to say that im new to the BYC experience and so far i'm loving it!! I keep several types of chickens and am currently adding to my flock as we speak thru hatching eggs. A friend and i are raising some beautiful silkies, Cochin bantams, Millie Fleur, D'uccle's and silver phoenix's! We hope to have a few more batches hatched before this beautiful Ky weather hold out! So again, just getting to know the sight and would love to talk to some of the people in my area... thanks!

If you want to find people in your area go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum. YOu can locate and post on your state thread, very likely you will find other chicken people near you.
 
@chirpychicks1, ive been keeping chickens about a year now and have had a blast doing it. Now ive introduced a friend to it and the bug has bitten her hard too. lol and to drumstick diva thanks for the info i'll def put it to good use. and lastly @ehale.. you should be proud of her... she is beautiful! I have a few Cochins bantams but i think yours has mine beat. lol
