I live in Puyallup, WA! I am new to raising chickens - don't have any yet. Can someone tell me the best places to buy my chicks in WA? Should I just go to the feed store or find a farm?

Also in Puyallup, and new to raising chickens. Would like to hear about buying hens as well as chicks. Does anyone sell layers?
Is it wise, or advisable, to start in late July?
