I am Deb. My husband is Pat and we have been married 15 years together for 22. We have two sons 11 and 13. 2 years ago we got our first 10 chickens over spring break for my youngest son. He had been wanting his own flock for years. We used the information from backyardchickens to get ideas to build our hen house on a trailer with an attached dog run attached. We free range our 11 hens. We have a mixed flock of Ameracaunas, Barred Rocks, White Leghorns, California White, Cochin Mix, and Black production Breed. My egg basket looks like an Easter Basket!
