Hello, from central Pennsylvania! I am preparing to raise chickens for the first time! We are remodeling part of our shed to be the coop and so I'm learning what all we need to make the coop perfect for our birds. I was a city girl gone country so I still have a lot to learn. Looking forward to all of your advice!

X2 and Welcome to BYC, from me too

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us.

If you check out the Coop section, i am sure there will be info about converting a shed into a coop. Also, you can search for "shed coops" by using the search box. I converted my garden shed into a coop - it was very easy and cheap - its not the Sheraton, but it works for my girls.

All the best
CT
