I am new to this. I have had chickens now for 3 years. I have a small flock. 5 hens and one rooster that is 3 years old and 6 new teenager hens from this spring. They are a mixed bag of breeds. 3 Rhode Isl Reds, 2 buff orpingtons, 1 Americana(sp?), 4 Isa Brown and 2 leghorns. I try to be self sufficient but sometimes I have questions. My Vet is great but he is not a poultry vet. He looks things up and helps when needed. Thanks for allowing me on board!

There are a lot of experienced folks on here, with very good information. Don't hesitate to read the forums, or simply ask for help whenever you need it.
