Hi! I'm Stephanie, from Decatur County, Indiana. My husband and I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 6 chickens, in the way of animals. Our chickens range in ages from 6 months down to only 2 months. Our 6 month old, Loretta, is a Black Sex Link. Joy, also a Black Sex Link, is about 3 months. Helga and Daisy May are two of our 2 month old's and they are Australorps. Our other two 2 month old's are Lisa and Lynn, and they are Buff Orpingtons. My husband, Jon, and I are relatively new to chickens. This is our first year having them, and boy are things not at all turning out how I planned. Of course, it's very naive of me to think that anything in life turns out how they're planned. Lol. Anyway, I'm very excited to be joining these forums. I'm looking forward to learning new tips and tricks to having chickens.
