Chirping
That's probably a terrible title for an intro, anyway!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Kind of. I had a large flock of chickens when I was a child. I spent lots of time with them and loved hypnotising them. It's been a couple of decades since then, so I'm having to relearn a fair chunk of this.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 7 chicks that are all 7.5 weeks old. (Gender assumptions in full swing!)
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 x Blue Australorps
2 x Light Sussex
2 x Lavender Araucanas (Australian Standard)
1 x Golden Laced Wyandotte
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Film, gardening, art and design.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married with two children and two indoor cats. I work full time which takes me away from my chickens! (But it is both rewarding and necessary.)
