We are new to raising chickens and are trying to figure out the best way to make a coop using pallet wood. I am also wanting to make them an enclosed yard using wood and chicken wire because I am afraid to let them free range due to predators around us. Is it possible to to have a large area that has fencing across the top, and down over the sides to let them range in and keep them happy? If anyone has any ideas on the coop and yard we would definitely appreciate your knowledge. We have 2 cinnamon queens, 2 barred rock and an australorp.
