My name is Monica, and I live in centralTexas. My family and I have had chickens for almost 3 years, but are still learning so much about the adventure of keeping chickens. I have a husband, 3 kids (all girls), 2 dogs, 2 cats, and the grand total of chickens we now have is 35! I am currently a stay at home mom, and take care of not only the kids, but the animals as well. One day we would like to get a larger piece of property and grow our flock in order to sell not only the eggs, but chicks as well. I look forward to being able to talk with others in all stages of chicken keeping. Only my household has done the chicken thing, so not a lot of understanding or knowledge to seek within my current circle of family and friends!
