New to chickens just picked up 4 chicks Friday from TSC. My mother has had chicken for about 6 years now and love helping her with them.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

4 about 9 day old chicks

(3) What breeds do you have?

I have no clue and the store didn't know either

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Hiking and just spending time with the family

I am married with 3 kids, we have 4hamsters, 2 parakeets, 1 bearded dragon, 1 cat, 4 dogs and now 4 chicks.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I was searching on Google and found a lot of very helpful information on BYC and joined the Facebook page. I decided to join. The website to be able to post questions that I'm sure to have in the future.
