I found this BYC in Raising Chickens for Dummies book I borrowed from a local library. I am new to anything chickens.

WOW!!!! This made my day.
What an inspirational introduction.
I thought I was the only person left in the world that goes to a local Library & cracks open books.
Everyone today, seems to plug into wifi and take short cuts to educate entertain themselves.
ALTHOUGH....
Backyard Chickens .com is a wonderful web site. It will deliverer so much useful 411 from true hands on Poultry Enthusiasts that share a common denominator- a passion for perfection, as well an almost instant response to our fellow members in need of assistance.
Something unique that a Library can't offer unfortunately. BUT STILL SUPPORT YOUR LIBRARY!

When I do my bi-monthly Library visits, I mostly explore the fiction selections for a nice late night read. History of course. The best thing about books are, no advertisements! lol.
