Hello, I'm Becky.
This is my first year raising chickens & ducks. I also have a turkey and a few rabbits. My fiancé has always raised various farm animals, so at least I'm not in this completely blind.
I have 2 meat birds that are close to processing time
6 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, 1 what seems to be a Spitzhauben, but was bought as a Wyandott & 4 Ducks.
All are around 3 months old.
I'm learning new things everyday.
I joined this group so that I can have another source of information, I figure all information can be useful.
Have a blessed day.

and Welcome to Backyard Chickens.
This is a great place for information and it's also fun to just socialize with fellow Poultry Peeps.
Every question I've ever posted here was answered and I've been helped through a crisis or two. Some smart folks here!
What breed are you planning on processing for meat? Some have better meat quality than others. Especially white Plymouth Rocks and Cornish crosses.
Are you sad or excited about having them processed? Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
We are glad you joined our flock!
