In the Brooder
Hello I am brand new to raising chickens. South of Boston about 45 minutes. We have had our ladies for almost a week. They are just about a month old. 2 Plymouth Rock, 2 Easter Eggers and 2 Buff Orpingtons. The first few days were great, but last night we had trouble in the brooder box. One poor little one was pecked bleeding with tail feathers missing. I took her out and reached out here- (can't find my post) But the people were so helpful even at 11:30 at night! I hope to be able to learn a lot and not get discouraged. We have had crazy cold weather - I just want them feathered and out in the coop. Looking forward to all the great info here! I really want to make this work!
