Hello everyone. I recently started with chickens. My first batch started laying eggs about a month and a half ago. I have a Silverudd Roo. I have a Maran, a Swedish Flower, and a Silverudd hen. I also have 4 Millie Defluer/Cochin bantam hens..
I have worked very hard to raise them without illness organically. So far I have done well and the results are showing. I am super proud of them. I set 7. I have 7 of their babies hatching today. When I went into lockdown I had 7 very active babies. Fingers crossed for a good hatch.. I am a bit concerned though. Now I realize the eggs I set were not at their full size yet. They were very new layers. I realize my error way to late.. Anyways, so far eggerything is going great.. These are a few of my favorite pics of my chicken adventures. Thanks for taking the time to read this...

Your Roo is gorgeous!! Welcome to the backyard! I am new to, mine are at day 5 or 6 of incubation 🙃 I am curious as to what breed lay your beautiful brown speckled egg, I was told I was getting a specific breed but the eggs tell me otherwise and a few look just like yours! 😊
