(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I currently do not have chickens, I hope to in the future. I think it would be best for me to learn as much as possible before I get some in the near future.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None yet.
(3) What breeds do you have?
N/A
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching them enjoy the little things in life like sunbathing and eating.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Bird watching, antiquing, oddities collecting, misc crafting (jewelry, crochet, etc).
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 cats (Rorschach, Bast, & Gandalf the Girl [GG]), 1 small dog (Rose), and most recently a pigeon (Po). I am a kennel technician and bather at a veterinary clinic.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this forum while looking up information on how to get Po to eat more. I had thought he was a fluffy bird, but the Vet said he was underweight, so I'm researching more and offering as much food as possible to bulk the babe up. Po was brought into the clinic after sustaining a wing injury. I joined in hopes of learning from others whatever information I can.
