I live in Knoxville and have 14 chickens. Looking for some advice to have a
Backyard hen house

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Dry, lots of ventilation (shoot for 1/2 sq foot per bird or more), shoot for 4 sq ft per bird in the coop and 12 sq ft per bird in the run with full access to the coop during the day. I always recommend a run with a solid roof over it. Enclose everything with 1/2" hardware cloth, never chicken wire and install a predator apron to prevent digging into the run.
