(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Kinda new, definitely not experienced. We got our first birds in early 2018 and have been adding for the past two years and possibly might get more if we can.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Seventeen, we also have sixteen ducks and six heritage turkeys.
(3) What breeds do you have? Too many. In chickens: Light Brahma, Silver-Laced Wyandotte, three RIRs, three Barred Rocks, Salmon Faverolle, Speckled Sussex, Black Sex-Link, Olive Egger, Easter Egger, Brown Leghorn, Excheqer Leghorn, Black Sumatra, and White Crested Black Polish. Ducks: Black Swedish, Blue Indian Runner, Fawn and White Indian Runner, Cayuga, seven mixed breeds, two Rouens, Chocolate Indian Runner, and a Khaki Campbell. Turkeys: three Blue Slates, two Royal Palms, and a Red Bourbon.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They make me happy and I love to just watch them explore and just be birds.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Art, hiking, taxidermy, hunting, just being in nature.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We’ve got a dog, a cat, six fish, and four rabbits (two Mini Rexes, a Havana, and an American Chinchilla). @Mandrogora is my sister.

From my sister, for around two years, and I just love birds.
