Hi,
I am a new member. Here is a little about me.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am not new to having Chickens. We had them as children and most of my life. di not have them for about 30 years and got some again about 8 years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
1 Broody hen. Lost most when hospitalized for Coved earlier this year and doctors thought I was not coming home.
(3) What breeds do you have?
lavender orpington
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love fresh eggs and they make great pets.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Needlework and Online business.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a single mother with 2 college kids. I have a 4 lb papillon and fish. I am an engineer.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found you several years ago when seeking new knowledge.
