I had a pair of chickens when I was 10, but this is my first time raising a flock on my own. I got my 4 chicks in late April.
I have one Easter Egger, one Olive Egger, one Black Copper Mariana, and one Naked Neck/Turkmen.
I love watching the chickens walk around the yard and learning about their loving personality.
My kids also like having the chickens around. My youngest loves to hold them daily. They kids are really good about washing their hands every time they touch the chickens.
I found BYC a few years ago. I’ve been BBC wanting to start my own flock for about 10 years, but jobs, kids, and living situations were never right until this year. Thanks for having me.
