Thank you. Well, the run is together but the coop is another thing. I have learned enough so far by reading the forum that you cannot just put up four walls and call it a coop. I live in Kelso, WA so it is wet much of the year. I really need to think this through.Bless you for taking in neglected chickens and giving them a good home! Congrats on your coop build, and I think it's cool that you are learning about medicinal teas and tinctures.

I am so sorry you had to watch her decline. I hate this disease! My MIL has been with us for just over a year. Since she lived across the road from us we were able to keep her in her home for about 4 years after she was diagnosed.![]()
I have been in the same boat as you're in. My MIL lived with us for years. She developed dementia in her latter years and was a handful. Good luck with everything and have some fun...
