I'd watch for lethargic behavior, fluffed up feathers, hunched posture, and smelly diarrhea. That would indicate cocidosis.
I hope all goes well with your flock.

Everyone is different and may do things different. A lot depends on your flock size. I currently have around 400 birds so the way I do things are most likely much different than others. Good luck with your birds and have fun...
