New here at BackYardChickens. Started taking care of a hen several months ago after she showed up in my yard and decided to stay. Building a proper coop for her now. She currently has one I made out of a plastic storage container off the ground that gets covered at night with a towel. She seems okay with the current set-up and even laid me some eggs. Also wanting to learn more, I really want to get some hatching eggs soon. Just looking forward to learning as much as I can.

Hello, and welcome! Hatching egg's will mean more chicken's, so they will need to have a regular coop, and the size of it will depend on how many chicken's that you plan on having.
Yep already on that research. And the plan is to build another coop. Also looking for a good walk in type run. Saw some on WayFair but not too sure about the quality.

You would more then likely be better off building your own. I built mine out of old horse panel's and then attached the hard cloth wire along the sides and on the top. You can also add a roof to it in order to keep out the hawk's and such if you have any of those in your area.
