I am a new (less than a year) chicken owner. The girls have survived their first winter here in SE Michigan and we are eager for spring weather. We converted a gazebo that we had in the back yard into a coop, and it currently houses 8 hens and a rooster. After living with this setup for almost a year, I have some changes in mind to make it work better. I've been inspired by everyone here! We have the 'Tractor Supply mix' of breeds. Other hobbies I enjoy are gardening, baking and art journaling.
