Hello!

My name is Norman and I live in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut, I am the 4th generation on our road (my son is the 5th).

I currently have 5 hens, down from 10 at one point, 3 goats, a pig, 3 rabbits, dog, cat, and now 5 German Beliefelder chicks (4 hens and a new rooster), 3 runner ducklings and 2 French tolouse goslings. I've had chickens for 3(4?) Years and the goats for almost 6.

I am a tree climber, certified arborist, part time instructor, sawyer, hand tool woodworker, timber framer, mechanic, and an amateur farmer, blacksmith, mason, what they used to call a countryman.

I've had terrible experiences on forums in the past so usually avoid them but I had some questions about my babies so figured I'd give it a try again.

Hope you guys can help!

Well it’s very nice to meet you and I hope you have a good experience here. I have geese and ducks including runners that I raised them all from hatch so ask away! And there are plenty of wonderful people on here with loads more experience than me, too. So helpful they are. Welcome!
