I am a new chicken keeper. I have 19 babies of varying breeds. My babies are currently 5 weeks old and very friendly. They currently reside in a brooder in my home office. I decided to start my own flock when I had some of my neighbor's flock show up and make my yard their free range home.

Are your coop and run all finished up and ready? If your neighbors chickens continue to come over, some may stay and join your flock or you may lose some to their flock if they all are permitted to comingle.
