Thank you! Yes, I've been raising chickens for 2 years. I have a hen with a large, hard growth or something on the front of her neck. It's not like a skin tag, but rather it's part of her neck (I think). It covers a big area. Some of her feathers are sticking out in wonky ways because of it. I don't even know how to describe it properly! Hoping to find info.

I'd like to, yes. I have to wait until one of my family members is awake to help me.

I'm calling our vet in the morning. Even if she's able to diagnose the problem, I'll still take pics and post the diagnosis & (hopefully) the treatment. I've looked up everything I can think of ... mites, tumors, pox, etc., and done thread searches here on BYC. Nothing seems to really fit our problem. Thanks so much for your willingness to help, btw!
